Ewa Beach Baptist Church (“we,” “us,” or “the church”) provides this mobile app to help our congregation stay connected. We respect your privacy and keep the information we handle to a minimum. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.
Information we collect
The app is designed to be used without creating an account or providing personal information. Specifically:
- Push notification token. If you allow notifications, your device provides an anonymous push token so we can send church announcements. This token identifies your device, not you personally, and is used only to deliver notifications.
- Basic technical data. Like most apps, our service providers may process standard technical information (such as device type, app version, and general usage and crash data) to keep the app working reliably.
We do not ask for your name, email, address, or other personal details inside the app, and we do not sell or rent any information to anyone.
Content you view
The app displays announcements and events that the church publishes. Viewing this content does not require you to identify yourself.
Third-party services
Some features connect to trusted third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Google Firebase stores the announcements and events shown in the app and delivers push notifications.
- YouTube (Google) plays sermon videos in the Sermons section.
- Tithe.ly handles giving. When you choose to give, you are taken to Tithe.ly’s secure giving page, and any payment information you enter is handled by Tithe.ly, not by this app or the church.
Children’s privacy
The app is intended for general church use and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It contains no targeted advertising.
Your choices
You can turn off push notifications at any time in your device settings. You can uninstall the app at any time to stop all data processing by the app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent version.
